The 10,200 sq. ft. Village of Los Ranchos fire station provides offices for the Fire Chief, Lieutenant, and Fire Marshall. The full site is utilized to create a facility that is functional, as well as comfortable. A landscaped courtyard welcomes visitors and officers and serves as a gathering space for public and civic functions during and after business hours. Private quarters for the firefighters include kitchen, dining and living room space and sleeping areas for the Fire Chief, Lieutenant, Fire Marshall, fire fighters, and volunteers.
